Iran condemns terrorist explosion in Yemen

Tehran, Dec 31, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, in a statement, condemned terrorist blast in a cultural center in Yemen on Wednesday.
  According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Marziyeh Afkham, by referring to an explosion among participants in an anniversary ceremony of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) birthday in a cultural center in the city of Ibb, west of Yemen, which left tens of innocent people dead and wounded, Afkham condemned and expressed sympathy with victims’ families and injured persons.

Underlining necessity of participation and cooperation of all political parties and groups for implementation of peace agreement, Afkham pointed out that Yemeni people awareness will dry out roots of ominous phenomenon of terrorism in the country.

International news agencies have reported that 33 people have been killed or injured in the blast.
