Ex-nuclear negotiator named deputy minister

TEHRAN Dec 20 (Shana)–Iran’s petroleum minister, Bijan Namdar Zangeneh, has appointed a former nuclear negotiator as his deputy for international affairs and trading.
Zangeneh named Amir-Hossein Zamani-Nia as his deputy due to his “experience and capabilities.”

Zamani-Nia was a nuclear negotiator when President Hassan Rouhani was serving as Iran’s chief nuclear negotiator under former president Mohammad Khatami.
