Irans Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani[/caption]Tehran, Dec 17, IRNA - Majlis (Parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani said on Wednesday that Iran is not seeking to turn it into an empire in the region.
Speaking in a local gathering in Tehran, Larijani underscored that West has created Iranophobia aimed at frightening regional countries.
Creating division among the Middle East countries and Iranophobiaf are very vital issues in the region, he added.
Larijani underscored that Iran's military might is based on deterrence, adding West is well aware that it can not deal with Iran through military options.
Iran has never intended to invade any country, he added.
