TEHRAN, Dec. 15 (MNA) – Iran’s minister of oil will depart for Doha, Qatar to participate in 16th ministerial meeting of gas-exporting countries.
The meeting will have for the first time an Iranian Secretary-General, Mohammad Hossein Adeli. Bijan Namdar Zanganeh will attend the meeting where he and 13 other ministers will sit together from gas-exporter countries.
Mehr News correspondent attempts to reach out the oil ministry were successful in finding that the minister will depart for Doha by Monday night.
The major issue of discussion in Doha session will be gas price plummeting following international parallel sinking down of crude prices. It is speculated that Zanganeh would meet major oil and gas exporting countries’ ministers including Alexander Novak of Russia about global perspectives of energy market prices.
