Iran, US to continue talks on Tuesday

Tehran, Dec 16, IRNA Tehran and Washington are to continue bilateral talks in Geneva on Tuesday.
Iran's deputies foreign minister and US Undersecretary discussed issues of mutual interest in the first round of nuclear comprehensive negotiations in Geneva, Switzerland, on Monday.
The two delegations are to continue their bilateral talks on Tuesday, and then as of Wednesday, the talks will begin between deputies foreign ministers of Iran and Group 5+1.

Foreign Ministry deputies for Legal and International Affairs as well as for Euro-American Affairs Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi respectively are heading Iranian delegation in this round of talks.

US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman is leading the US delegation.

In the last round of talks between Iran and Group 5+1 in Vienna from November 17-24, the two sides could not reach a final agreement, so the foreign ministers said they needed more time for a comprehensive agreement and extended the negotiations for another seven months.
