TEHRAN Dec 15 (Shana)--National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) is set to receive three new drilling rigs before March next year, a deputy head of NIDC said.
Mehran Mokvandi said Fath-39, Fath-94 and Fath-72 are planned to join the NIDC drilling equipment.
He said that plans are under way for three more drilling rigs.
He said Fath-39, purchased from abroad, is waiting for customs clearance, and Fath-72 has been manufactured domestically.
These rigs, he said, are equipped with top drive and waste management system.
NIDC currently operates 74 rigs in its onshore activities.�
