Gov’t to have anti-Iran sanctions lifted: President Rouhani

Tehran, Dec 15, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said here on Monday that the Iranian government would have sanctions imposed on the country lifted.


Addressing the 54th annual session of Central Bank of Iran (CBI), President Rouhani said the overwhelming majority of the Iranian people including intellectuals, academics, scholars, the leadership and the government are looking forward to removal of the entire sanctions.

President Rouhani underscored that the world has no choice but to sit down at the negotiating table with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Emphasizing Iran’s peaceful, lawful and transparent nuclear activities, President Rouhani stressed that Iran is negotiating with the world in a logical and sound manner.
