Military attaché: Iran's confrontation with pirates very valuable

Tehran, Dec 8, IRNA – A senior military attache in Iran said that Iran's Navy operations in free waters against pirates are valuable and praiseworthy.
  General Vahid Momtaz of pakistan, who attended a meeting with Iran's Navy Commander with 29 other military attaches, said that Iran's Navy took big steps in 2008 and now is undertaking a valuable task.
He added that Iran's Navy has overcome obstacles and has visited faraway places , such as Russia, China and Pakistan.

General Momtaz, by referring to progress of Iran in military industry, stressed that Iran's Navy has progressed a lot in the fields of ship building, using drone and missiles and should be congratulated for these achievements.

He said all military attaches are looking forward to commissioning destroyer 'Damavand' and submarine ' Fateh'.
