Iran's economic team in Pakistan

Islamabad, Dec 8, IRNA Iran's large economic delegation led by Minister of Economy and Financial Affairs Ali Tayyebnia arrived here Monday morning to attend 19th meeting of Iran-Pakistan Joint Economic Commission.
The meeting is to be held in the Pakistani capital on December 9-10.
During his two-day stay, Tayyebnia is to hold separate meetings with Minister of Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs and Statistics Ishaq Dar, Prime Minister Nawaz sharif, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Commerce Minister Khurram Dasgir Khan and Sartaj Aziz, National Security and Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister.

The 19th meeting of Iran-Pakistan Joint Economic Commission will focus on the natural gas pipeline project as well as exports of Iran's electricity to Pakistan in a near future.

Tehran-Islamabad trade value is less than one billion dollar. Officials of the two neighboring countries are not satisfied with the figure noting that it does not suit good political relations between the two.
