Iran, S. Arabia review additional quota for Iranians in annual Hajj

Tehran, Dec 4, IRNA – Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati and visiting Saudi Arabian Minister for Hajj, Bandar Bin Mohammed Bin Hamzah Asad Hajjar, in a meeting in Tehran on Thursday reviewed additional quota for Iranians in annual Hajj.
The Saudi minister, who is in Tehran to participate in the 10th Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (ICIM), met with Jannati after Tehran Conference came to an end last night.

Speaking to IRNA after the meeting, Jannati said that the two ministers underlined the need for expansion of Tehran-Riyadh relations.

Jannati said the Saudi minister had told him that the development project of Masjid ul-Haram will be completed within a year.

Once the project is completed, the number of Iranian pilgrims will increase significantly, he added.
