Iranian photographer wins in Turkish festival
Kashan, Dec 1, IRNA A photograph taken by Iranian artist received FIAP Mention at the Marmaris International Photography Festival in Turkey.
The photo Gypsy girl was taken by Seyyed Ali Mir-emadi, an MA student of Kashan Universitys arts and architecture faculty. He had submitted two colored and black and white photos to the festival, the universitys chancellor Ali Omranpour said.
In the first phase, a total of 152, 200, 64 and 42 works were chosen for the Colored, Black and white, Travel and Creative sections respectively which included works of Iranian artists as well.

Seyyed Ali Mir-emadi, has so far, won several awards in national and international festivals.

Another photo of his, Woman, the spring of life, was also chosen at Izmirs Festival last month.

Marmaris held the international photography festival, Nov 16-21, marking the first event of its kind in Turkey to be recognized by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).
