Qom, Dec 1, IRNA � Grand cleric Ayatollah Nouri-Hamedani said on Monday that the enemies attempted to isolate Islamic Iran standing in line to confront Iran and Islam.


 
He made the remarks in a meeting with a group of police commanders in Qom.


'Western governments try to isolate Iran in order to dominate the the Muslim World,' he said.

The current status of the Islamic Republic of Iran is not comparable to the past; he said adding that in that era the enemies tried to keep Iran backward, to westernize the universities and depict a reactionary image of Ulema.

He said that thank God the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution is a blessing for the Muslims worldwide.
