TEHRAN, Nov. 30 (MNA) Director Narges Abiar and actress Gelareh Abbassi won the prize of Best Film and Best Actress for the film Objects in Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear at the Russian Silver Horse Filmfest.

Narges Abiars first feature filmObjectsinmirrorarecloser thanthey appearparticipated at the 1stRussian Silver Horse Filmfest and was displayed twice to the Russian audiences in different classes of queries.


Actress Gelareh Abbassi told Mehr News that fortunately the Russians greetedObjectsinmirrorarecloser thanthey appearand different age groups came to the festival to watch the movie.


Students, housewives, workers and Iranian citizens of Russia came to see the film and it was an unexpected welcome, she added.


In addition to the feature filmObjectsinmirrorarecloser thanthey appear, Iranian documentaryMashti Ishmaelby Mehdi Zamanpoor Kiasari was also screened at the Silver Horse Filmfest held in Ufa, the Muslim center of Russia.


10 narrative films as well as 14 documentaries from Russia, Germany, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Bulgaria, Iraq, Lithuania and different republics of the Russian Federation attended at the festival.


Objectsinmirrorarecloser thanthey appearis about a pregnant woman named Leila who is grappling with problems in life.
