Iranian child artist shines at Finnish art expo

Iranian child painter Hasti Moin has bagged the top award at the 15th International Art Exhibition for Children and Young People in Finland.
The 11-year-old girl, Moin, received the medal of the exhibition for her painting, which depicts a rural family harvesting wheat.

Moins artwork along with other 36 art pieces werenominated as medal winners during a ceremony held at the exhibition venue in Villa Arttu Cultural Center in Hyvinkaa city.

Mohaddeseh Khosravi, Sama Mokhtari and Fatemeh Karimian were other Iranian representatives who won diplomas at the exhibition.

Theartists were required to focus on the theme of food with the motto of Lets Eat!

The exhibition opened on October 29 and will run until December 14, 2014.

The exhibited works were selected from among 6,000 artworks submitted from 77 countries.
