P5+1 group ministers, EU coordinator start talks in Vienna
The P5+1 group representatives and the EU chief coordinator have started talks on the Iranian nuclear program in Vienna.


VIENNA, November 24 (Sputnik) The foreign ministers oftheP5+1group ofnuclear negotiators and the European Unions chief coordinator met inVienna Monday todiscuss whether the ongoing nuclear talks withIran can produce a comprehensive accord.

Foreign ministers ofRussia, China, the United States, the United Kingdom,France, Germany and EU's chief coordinator Catherine Ashton are now discussing the progress made inthe talks onIran's nuclear program and the possibility ofreaching a comprehensiveagreement.

Iran's nuclear program has long been a matter ofconcern forthe international community. The West suspects Iran ofdeveloping a nuclear weapon underthe guise ofa peaceful program, while Tehran argues that its nuclear development is aimed purely atmeeting civilian needs.

The final roundofTehran's talks withthe P5+1 group kicked offin Vienna last week. The deadline toreach an agreement guaranteeing the peaceful nature ofIran's nuclear program expires onMonday.
