Iran agreement deadline could be extended by hours, not months: Source
According to a source in the Tehran's delegation, the deadline for reaching an agreement on Iranian nuclear program could be extended by no more than a few hours or a few days.VIENNA, November 24 (Sputnik) Thedeadlineforreaching a comprehensive nuclear agreement withTehran could be postponed fora few hours or days, butnot months, a source inthe Iranian delegation told RIA Novosti Monday.


"The deadline could be extended byno more thana few hours or a few days, butdefinitely not months," the source said.

The final roundof Tehrans talks withtheP5+1group comprising Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China and Germany, kicked offin Vienna onTuesday. The deadline toreach an agreement guaranteeing the peaceful nature ofIrans nuclear program expires onMonday.

Irans nuclear programhas long been a matter ofconcern forthe international community. The West suspects Iran ofdeveloping a nuclear weapon underthe guise ofa peaceful program, while Tehran argues that its nuclear development is aimed purely atmeeting civilian needs.
