Oil Ministry invites already banned companies to enter oil industry
Bushehr, Nov 22, IRNA Deputy Oil Minister for Engineering Affairs Seyed Emad Hosseini said on Saturday that opon an order of Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, a large number of contractor companies, banned before the formation of the 11th government to do business with the Oil Ministry, to contribute to oil industry projects.

Hosseini told reporters on Saturday that a number of such banned companies are not yet known.


He said oil industry is determined to follow up the resistance economy policies because the only way to help the country cope with economic is this important mechanism.

He added the Oil Ministry's new approach is based on cooperating with the private sector and encouraging it to participate in the macro oil policies; however, this does not mean the Oil Ministry should be run by the private sector.

He went on to say that efforts are made to ensure the domestic manufacturers and contractors would have equal condition with foreign firms participating in the oil industry tenders.
