Irans nuclear program boosts regional stability: Former Iraqi minister
Former Iraqi Interior Minister Jawad Bolani hopes Tehran will share its technological expertise with Baghdad.


MOSCOW, November 18 (Sputnik) The Iranian nuclear program is conducive toregional stability and may be a valuable experience forIraq, former Iraqi Interior Minister Jawad Bolani said Tuesday.

"Iran's missiles not only do not pose any threat toother regional countries, butboost stability inthe region," Jawad Bolani said, asquoted byIranian Tasnim News.

According tothe agency, Bolani added that Iran could share expertise withIraq, which would allow Iraq toproduce missiles infuture.

Western countries and Israel have repeatedly accused Iran ofattempting todevelop a nuclear weapon underthe guise ofa civilian nuclear program, while Tehran argues that its nuclear development is aimed purely atmeeting the country's growing energy needs and achieving other peaceful goals.

On Tuesday, the so-called P5+1 and Iran started a final roundof talks on Iran's nuclear program which is expected tosee the sides agree ona comprehensive nuclear deal.

The permanent deal should be reached bythe November 24, though it is not yet clear whether the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia, the United States and China will be able tofind an agreement withIran.
