TEHRAN (FNA)- Spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Behrouz Kamalvandi underlined that the country has provided the International Atomic Energy Agency with correct information, blaming the IAEA for the deficiencies in its new report on Iran's nuclear program.

"Iran has given correct information to the IAEA and it was the agency which has not entered the information correctly in the report," Kamalvandi said Saturday.

Referring to the IAEA's revision of its report on Iran's nuclear activities, he said, "The information that Iran has given to the Agency is completely correct; we reminded them of their mistakes and then the Agency corrected them."

Kamalvandi also blasted the IAEA for releasing reports on Iran and other countries' nuclear activities to the media before their circulation at the Agency's Board of Governors.

Earlier this week, a senior Iranian lawmaker strongly criticized IAEA Director General for his recent report on Iran's nuclear activities, and said Yukiya Amano has prepared his report under the influence of certain countries.

Referring to the latest report released by Amano, Gholam Ali Haddad Adel said the IAEA's report was neither fair nor impartial.

He went on to say that the IAEA's report is dubious and two sided, adding that they claim Iran is not going to build nuclear weapon on the one hand and on the other hand they say they are doubtful about Tehran's nuclear program. They say Iran is cooperating with them but claim they expect more cooperation on the part of the country.

"The IAEA similar to other international organizations is under influence of the big powers," he said.

Iran will do its utmost to prove its legitimacy at the negotiation table, he said.

Earlier this month, Amano presented his latest report on Iran's nuclear activities and its cooperation with the agency over implementation of the contents of the Geneva agreement.
