Iranian pop star Morteza Pashaei has died of stomach cancer in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
Pashaei, with millions of Persian-speaking fans across the world, passed away in Bahman Hospital on Friday.
The 30-year-old had been suffering from stomach cancer for several months.
Pashaei is to be buried at Behesht-e Zahra cemetery, south of Tehran, on Sunday.
Gole Bita, Yeki Hast (There’s someone) and Esme Eshqe (The name of love) are among the albums released by Pashaei.
