Envoy: Peaceful nature of Iranian nuclear program crystal clear

Moscow, Nov 14, IRNA – Peaceful nature of the Iranian nuclear program is an undeniable fact which is crystal clear and therefore baseless claims against it are easily and logically ruled out, Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Mahdi Sana’ie said here Friday.

“Iran has thus far done all within its capabilities to ease the western countries’ claimed concerns about its peaceful nuclear program and has observed full good will in that respect,” said the Iranian envoy in an interview with the Russian website, Foreign Policy.

Asked his viewpoint about the ongoing Iran-5+1G nuclear negotiations whose November 24 deadline is rapidly approaching, the Iranian diplomat expressed optimism and said that good results are achieved from those talks in them thus far as both sides have confirmed.

“We appreciate the Russian side in those talks for its initiatives aimed at creating harmony among the participating countries and hope that the other sides, too, will cooperate as constructively as Russia in those talks.

Pointing out that Iran considers dialogue as the only way to resolve this crisis Sana’ie said that in order to achieve tangible results within the defined time from the Iran-5+1G nuclear negotiations in addition to hard work the good will of the western side is needed.
