World parliamentary bodies urged to seriously react to Zionist regime

Tehran, Nov 12, IRNA Speaker of Parliament (Majlis) Ali Larijani in a message on Wednesday urged world parliamentary bodies to seriously react to the recent savage attacks of the Zionist regime against al-Quds.
The Al-Aqsa complex in al-Quds which represents the world's third holiest site for Muslims, was stormed last week by a group of Jewish settlers and Zionist security forces.
Condemning the move, Larijani called on regional and international parliamentary bodies including the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) and the Latin American Parliaments to take serious steps against aggressive moves of the Zionist regime in al-Quds.

Perpetrating organized and racist crimes and aggressions in the holy city are aimed at accomplishing the process of Al-Quds Judaization and its complete occupation, Larijani said in his message as the IPU president.

He added continuation of Jews migration into the occupied lands as well as continuous construction of new Jewish townships along with simultaneous reconstruction of old ones and tightening siege of the Gaza Strip have all indicated blatant violation of every international regulations and UN resolutions about human rights by Tel Aviv authorities.

Larijani urged regional and international parliamentary bodies to defend the innocent people of Palestine and condemn Zionists' inhuman acts by holding emergency meetings and issuing statements against the Zionist regime.

He also voiced IPU readiness to hold joint meetings with its regional and international counterparts.
