Iran-Turkey trade exchange to be improved
TEHRAN, Nov. 12 (MNA) VP of Irans Chamber of Commerce has described joint meeting with Turkish trade delegation fruitful.

Vice President of Iran Chamber of Commerce and Head of Kerman Chamber Mohsen Jalalpour dubbed talks at a joint meeting between board members of Kerman Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture and the Turkish Board as satisfactory and leading to a rise in trade exchange between Iran and Turkey.


Pointing to the presence of Turkish trade delegation in Kerman, Jalalpour told reporters that the joint meeting of board members of Kerman Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture with Turkish business delegation was held on Tuesday.


Fifty businessmen and farmers and those involved in the food industry participated at the meeting and successful talks were exchanged between Iranian and Turkish businessmen in Kerman province, south of Iran.


We can have a joint collaboration with Turkey in the field of exporting aquatic products especially nuts to many countries, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Persian Gulf and European countries, head of Kerman Chamber of Commerce said.


He said, Turkey outweighs our country in producing some products such as raisins and figs because of lower prices and having more orderly gardens, but Iran excels in producing pistachio and Turkey encompasses a maximum of five to ten percent of our production.


Acknowledging Irans lions share in pistachio market, head of Kerman Chamber of Commerce asserted that the two countries could have cooperation regarding these products.


Pointing to Turkish delegations three-day trade mission in Kerman province Mohsen Jalalpour said the delegation would go on the second day of their trip to Sirjan and the last day to Rafsanjan.


Turkish Board is scheduled to visit the gardens, and agricultural and industrial sectors of the province during their visit to Kerman, Jalalpour stated.
