Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA - The output of Irans car manufacturing companies rose by 71.4 percent and reached with the production of 625,320 cars in the first seven months of the Iranian calendar beginning March 21, 2014.The Sedan production showed a 70.8-percent rise and reached with the production of 830,313 sedans in the above stated period.
Iran manufactured 165,873, 79,587, 61,854, 56,057, 55,685, 47,684, 24,465, 14,870 Pride, Peugeot Pars, Peugeot 405, Samand, Peugeot 206, Tiba, MVM and Tondar-90 sedans respectively.
During the same period, Iran also produced 29,012, 17,887, 11,226 and 19 bi-fuel Pride, Runna, Renault and Megane models.
A total of 84,871 pickup trucks, 9,691 trucks, 359 buses and 86 minibuses were also produced in the seven months.
