Tehran, Nov 6, IRNA - Head of the Center for Strategic Research of Iran's Expediency Council discussed regional developments with a visiting delegation of Kuwaiti political and cultural elites on Sunday.
Ali-Akbar Velayati called Iran-Kuwait relations as historical and cultural and stressed the need to boost all out ties between the two states.
Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah's recent visit to Iran had a positive impact on the two countries' relations.

Abdolreza Asiri head of the visiting Kuwaiti delegation welcomed expansion of ties with the Iranian nation and government.

Development of ties between Iranian and Kuwaiti people can help promote relations between the two countries' administrations, he added.

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah travelled to Tehran on a landmark visit in June.
