Tehran, Nov 8, IRNA -- Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Saturday that resolving the Iranian nuclear dispute will leave positive impacts on the developments of the Middle East region.
He made the remarks in his statement to the inaugural ceremony of the 20th Press and News Agencies Exhibit.
The Iranian government and G5+1 are paving the path of rationality which helps them reach the final deal, he said.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has explicitly declared that Iran has no weapons program under the religious edict (Fatwa) from the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, he said adding that the G5+1 should pay due attention to the reality as the edict is binding on all governments taking helm of the administration in Iran.

He said that nuclear talks between Iran and G5+1 have been successful to some extent and the two sides are getting closer, a suitable opportunity with positive impacts on regional developments.

The resolution is that Iran should possess peaceful nuclear program for the economic development, he said.

There is no doubt that Iran accepts the international monitoring procedures within international rules and regulations and it should be clarified that the country does not seek nuclear weapon, Larijani underlined.
