Iran negotiating team left Tehran for Muscat

Tehran, Nov 8, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif heading the Iranian nuclear negotiating team left Tehran for Muscat late Saturday for tripartite talks with US Secretary of State John Kerry and EU coordinator, Catherine Ashton.
He is accompanied by his deputies, Abbas Araqchi, Majid Takht-e Ravanchi, Foreign Ministry director general for political and international security, Hamid Baeedinejad, spokeswoman Marzieh Afkhan and minister's advisor, Mohammad Ali Hosseini.

Zarif is scheduled to hold talks with Kerry and Ashton tomorrow.

Araqchi earlier told IRNA that Zarif will hold negotiations with Kerry and Ashton in the Omani capital on November 9-10.

Iran-5+1 talks will also be held on the third day of tripartite negotiations on November 11.

During the trilateral talks, they will discuss uranium enrichment and lifting the sanctions.

Earlier, Zarif, Kerry and Ashton dealt with disputative issues such as uranium enrichment, way of removing sanction and time of talks during October 14-16.

Both sides are trying to settle outstanding issues to clinch a comprehensive deal on November 24.
