TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Iranian national football team, known as Team Melli, will play Sweden on March 31, the Swedish media reported.
In October, Two federations had already reached a preliminary agreement to play friendly and the match has been finalized.
The friendly will be held at the Friends Arena Stadium in Stockholm.

Team Melli, who is preparing itself for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, will also play South Korea and Zimbabwe in Tehran prior the tournament.

Iran has been pitted against the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar and Bahrain in Group C of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, which will be held in Australia from January 9 to 31.
