Iran's medicine exports to Russia hit $30m

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Vice-President Sorena Sattari said Iran has exported 30 million dollars of medicines to Russia since the start of the Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.
"We exported 30 million dollars of drugs to Russia," Sattari said.

He added the country is conducting clinical tests on 7 medicines, and we can export 300 million dollars of medicines to Russia.

Sclerosis and cancer medicines are some of the drugs exported to Russia.

Iran ranks seventh in nanotechnologies in the world. Iran has achieved some success in the production of new medicines and intends to cooperate with Russia in this area.

During his recent visit to Russia, Sattari was accompanied by the experts in the field of medicines, medical and nanotechnologies, as well as the oil and gas sector.
