Iran ready to foster environmental ties with Norway: VP
Tehran, Nov 2, IRNA - Vice President and Head of the Department of Environment (DoE) Masoumeh Ebtekar said on Sunday that Iran is ready to exchange experience and foster bilateral cooperation with Norway.
Ebtekar made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Norway's Foreign Minister Borge Brende.
Pointing to President Hassan Rouhani's support for environmental protection, she added the Iranian government has always made efforts to foster environmental relations with other countries.

She reiterated that Iran is ready to enhance its mutual relations with Norway in the fields of renewable energy and forests conservation.

Brende, for his part, said Norway attaches great importance to expansion of diplomatic ties with Iran.

Norway is fully ready to foster cooperation with Iran in the fields of climate change and biodiversity conservation.
