Salehi: Enemy prompted Iran to make breakthrough in nuclear industry

Tehran, Oct 29, IRNA – Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi said on Wednesday that the country’s nuclear industry with reliance on domestic workforce has successfully solved problems and made great progress.
Addressing an annual seminar on civil defense, he said in fact the enemies’ wrong approach prompted the country to attain outstanding development in the nuclear field.

The enemy spares no effort to create obstacles on the way of Iran’s march towards development, he underlined.

The issue of civil defense is of prime importance and all officials have paid due attention to it, he said.

In many European countries all state-run buildings are equipped with civil defense equipment and this should also happen in Iran, he said.
