Ambassador says Iran, Saudi Arabia trying to patch up differences

Beirut, Oct 29, IRNA Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fathali said Wednesday that Iran and Saudi Arabia have continuous consultations and are trying to solve their differences.
Iran has always wanted brotherly and normal relations, based on mutual respect, among regional countries, Fathali told reporters after a meeting with Grand Sheikh Ahmad Qiblan, Jafari Mufti of Lebanon.
"We believe any difference between regional countries will serve the interest of foreign sides," Fathali said.

During their meeting, Fathali and Sheiks Qiblan, underlined the need for boosting stability and security in Lebanon so that the government of Beirut would be able to efficiently fight Takfiri terrorist groups and foil plots to spark ethnic and religious conflicts in the country.
