Iran parliamentary friendship group off to Georgia

Tehran, Oct 27, IRNA Members of Iran's parliamentary friendship group departed for Georgia on Monday to discuss issues of mutual interests with officials of that country.
Majlis Advisor for International Affairs Hossein Sheikholeslam told IRNA that the Iranian parliamentary delegation will arrive in Tibilisi on a five-day visit which is taking place upon an official invitation of Chairman of Georgia-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group Gubaz Sanikidze.
Promotion of Tehran-Tibilisi relations is the main objective of the visit, Sheikholeslam added.

While in Georgia, the Iranian delegation is to meet with its parliament speaker as well as other senior members of the parliament and also exchange views on issues of mutual interests with the country's ministers of interior and culture, Sheikholeslam said.
