Deputy FM in Islamabad

Islamabad, Oct 27, IRNA - Iranian Foreign Ministry Deputy for Asia and Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour arrived in Islamabad on Monday morning.
During his day-long stay, Rahimpour is set to hold talks with senior Pakistani officials and discuss the latest regional and international developments as well as recent clashes in joint border areas.
Two Iranian border police officers were killed and several injured in southeastern Iran on October 16 in an armed clash with a group of bandits at Iran-Pakistan border.

Iran has criticized its eastern neighbors for failing to rein in terrorists who cross the borders back into these countries after carrying out their attacks on Iranian soil.
