Iran, China to develop scientific, technological cooperation
Tehran, Oct 25, IRNA Caretaker of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Ali Najafi and Chinese Vice Minister of Education Hao Ping on Saturday underlined development of scientific cooperation between the two countries.
Najafi referred to Iran-China post-Revolution ties in political, economic and cultural fields and hoped that the upcoming Chinese delegation's visit to Tehran will help deepen bilateral ties in the field of high education.

In terms of high education, Iran has a desirable status and expansion of collaboration will certainly benefit both sides, Najafi said.

Ping, also President of UNESCO's General Conference, voiced his country's willingness to increase interaction with Iran.

Signing memorandum of understanding on exchange of students and instructors, setting up Iranology department in China and Chinology department in Iran are the means to boost collaboration, he said.
