Asia Para Games: Mehran Hosseini bags gold
INCHEON, South Korea (Tasnim) Irans Mehran Hosseini finished in the first place at the Men's Discus Throw - F35/36 in the 2014 Asia Para Games on Thursday.
Hosseini won the gold with a throw of 40.14 meters.


Mohammed Saeed Sultan Obaid Al Kaabi from UAE came second with 36.34 meters.

Iraqi Murtadha Ali Ahmed Al Bayati claimed the bronze medal with 37.77 meters.

The medal grabbed by Hosseini, brings to 21 the number of gold medals won by the Iranian athletes in the games so far.

Vahid Keshtkar claimed a gold medal in the men's 400 m freestyle S13.

Erfan Hosseini won the gold medal in the men's javelin throw F1213.

Sareh Javanmardi earned the gold medal in the Mixed 50 meter pistol SH1.

Discus thrower Alireza Mokhtari clinched a gold medal in the mens F51/52/53.

Peyman Nasiri won the gold medal of the Men's 1,500m T20 final.

Sareh Javanmardi claimed a gold medal in the Women's P2-10m Air Pistol-SH1.

Mohammad Alvanpour clinched a gold medal in the Men's Javelin Throw - F55/56.

The 2014 Asian Para Games started on October 18 in Incheon, South Korea and will last until 24. The games feature around 5,000 athletes competing across 23 sports.
