Zarif, Kerry, Ashton hold 3rd round of difference resolving talks
Vienna, Oct 15, IRNA Iranian and US foreign ministers Mohammad Javad Zarif and John Kerry and EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton held a third round of talks here Wednesday aimed at resolving the remaining differences over Irans nuclear program.

The extent of uranium enrichment, schedule for lifting the anti-Iranian sanctions, and the duration time needed to achieve the comprehensive nuclear agreement are among the issues discussed in the trilateral meeting before tomorrows session of the Sextet with Iran.

The remaining points of difference between the two sides led to lack of success in achieving a comprehensive agreement on July 20, 2014, which led to extending the negotiation period till November 24 by the two sides.

Informed sources here told IRNA that if the Iranian and the US top diplomats would in this third round of talks reach shared solutions to those remaining points of difference it will be possible to crack the final comprehensive agreement before November 24.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Seyyed Abbas Araqchi had before this 8th round of nuclear talks with the 5+1 Group in Austria told the media that it is possible to further extend the period of negotiations if possibility of reaching the comprehensive agreement will be ruled out in this round.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, too, had said that this round of talks were very sensitive.
