An Iranian police plane crashed late on Saturday killing four senior officers.
All seven officers on board were martyred when the twin-engine turboprop commander aircraft crashed in the mountains outside Sistan-Baluchestan’s capital of Zahedan.
Two generals including Mahmoud Sadeqi, a senior officer in charge of investigations, and a colonel, were among the dead.
They were on a mission from Tehran to investigate the killing of four Iranian police officers in the province.
The wreckage of the aircraft has been found and the cause of the crash remains to be determined later.
