Iran releases 2015 Fajr Filmfest program, regulations

Iran has released the planned programs and regulations of the 33rd edition of Irans Fajr International Film Festival.
Supervised by Irans Ministry of Culture, the annual cinematic event will host competitions in two main sections of Iranian Cinema and International Section.

The festival is also comprised of competitive and non competitive sections with various categories including short, medium-length, and full-length cinematic productions and documentaries.

New Vision, Cinema Vrit and First Films sections are some of the categories in Iranian Cinema.

The International section will present the Competition of Islamic and Asian Countries Cinema and Bliss Cinema (Cinema Saadat) categories.

Established in 1982, the festival will also host the 18th International Iranian Film Market (IFM) while a large number of reputed Iranian and international film distributors and buyers are slated to flock to the event.

Iran holds the international Fajr film, theater, music, visual arts and poetry festivals every year to mark the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

This year's edition of Irans most important film presentation and competition festival - the International Fajr Film Festival - is set to take place in the countrys capital of Tehran in February, 2015.
