Qatar welcomes Iran to build exhibition site

TEHRAN, Oct. 07 (MNA) Chairman of the Qatar-Iran Friendship Association announced that an agreement has been signed to found a permanent exhibition site for Iranian goods in Qatar.

Saud bin Abdullah Al Hnzab, Chairman of the Qatar-Iran Friendship Association, announced that an agreement to construct a permanent exhibition site for Iranian goods in Doha, Qatar was signed and said, founding a site in Doha in order to have the continuous presence of Iranian entrepreneurs and the selling of their goods is the most notable strategy to develop trade ties between the two countries.


Al Hnzab pointed to the declaration on relations enactment of Qatar-Iran Friendship Association and said, during the meeting of Qatar-Iran Friendship Association, the two sides stressed the development of ties and signed an agreement in this regard.


One of the provisions of this declaration is the allocation of a piece of land in Doha in order to construct a permanent exhibition site for Iranian goods, he asserted. We will endeavor to have this provision approved in Doha City Council.


He also pointed to his visit to hospitals in Rasht and said, the equipment and treatment facilities in this hospital is remarkable and as such, we are eager to cooperate with Iran in constructing a fully-equipped hospital in Qatar.


Mohammad-Bagher Sakhaei, the head of the Association, for his part, noted the joint agreement between Iran and Qatar and deemed it a forward step in expanding economic relations between the two countries.


Qatar is preparing to host 2022 FIFA World Cup, Sakhaei asserted, and as such, it has perfect capacity to absorb facilities from Iran in order to complete its infrastructures.
