Tehran, Oct 2, IRNA - The customs checkpoint at the border with Azerbaijan Republic will operate round-the-clock following an agreement with the neighboring country.
Mehdi Karbasian, the head of Iran�s Customs Administration, said Iran is determined to expand trade ties with Azerbaijan and will do its best to implement the deal as soon as possible.
Karbasian made the statements after a meeting with Shahin Mustafayev, Azerbaijan�s Minister of Economic Development, in Baku.

Mustafayev said customs plays an important role in boosting transactions, especially in the private sector.

�Azerbaijan is ready to launch a joint chamber of commerce,� he said.
