Iran attends Intl. tourism exhibitions
TEHRAN, Sep. 27 (MNA) Iran tourism marketing general secretary has said the Islamic Republic has participated in seven international tourism exhibitions.

Seyyed Mohammad Kazem Kholdi Nasab told Mehr news that Iran attends exhibitions in Spain, Russia, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Turkey and China held on World Tourism Day.


Kholdi Nasab added that international exhibitions are tourism advertisement for the country in favor of both governmental and private sectors.


World Tourism Day (WTD) is celebrated on September 27. According to the UN, this years World Tourism Day draws special attention to the role of tourism in contributing to one of the building blocks of a more sustainable future for all: Community development. This focus is in line with the global transition to the Sustainable Development Goals as the guiding principle promoted by the UN from 2015 and beyond.


Iran is a country as old as the history itself and as beautiful as eyes can perceive. Visitors to Iran can visit glorious ancient structures like Persepolis, the most amazing natural beauties like Harra mangroves, climb high mountains like Alborz, or just have a cup of tea in Hafiz Garden, swim in the Caspian Sea, and even in winter season one can swim in Kish Island in addition to doing some shopping.


Visitors to Iran can experience different cultures and religions, with a hospitability you have never seen before. Iran is capable of ecotourism and owns religious, historical, sportive, health, museum and gastronomy attractions.
