New York, Sept 26, IRNA � Foreign and Iranian investors are welcome, President Hassan Rouhani said a meeting with Iranians residing in the US.
Iran has achieved progress in promotion of relations with international players particularly the neighbors, he said on Thursday night in New York.
"The structure of sanctions against Iran has cracked and international players know well that without Iran's help, they can not resolve regional and international problems," the president added.

He also referred to his administration's policies to resolve Iran's economic problems and urged Iranian expatirates to invest in their country's projects.

"Iran has always been a pioneer in the fight against terrorism and it was the first country which helped regional states against the extremists," President Rouhani said.

Iran's foreign policy has taken new directions since Rouhani was elected as president in 2013. In the meantime, nuclear talks between Iran and the G5+1 members have gained momentum.
