Turkey opens new consulate in Iran

Mashhad, Sept 16, IRNA Turkey opened a consulate general in Mashhad, capital of the northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi.
Head of Foreign Ministry Representative Office in North and East of Iran Gholam-Abbas Arbab-Khales told IRNA.
The official referred to other Turkey's consulate generals in Tabriz and Orumieh and welcomed opening of the new diplomatic mission.

Iran welcomes opening of the new consulate general in northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi aimed at facilitating trade, tourism and pilgrimage, he added.

Iran has three consulate generals in Istanbul, Trabzon and Erzurum.
