TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Iranian negotiator in the talks with the six world powers (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) said a final deal over Iran's nuclear issue should include a removal of all sanctions imposed against Iran.


"Iran's expectation from the Western countries in these negotiations is the removal of all the sanctions as per agreements and after singing the comprehensive agreement," said Majid Takht Ravanchi, who is also Iranian deputy foreign minister for Europe and America, in a meeting with Chairperson of the French Parliament's Defense Committee Patricia Adam in Tehran on Monday.

He noted that Iran is fully ready to reach a comprehensive agreement with the West if the G5+1 countries show a political will to this end.

Adam, for her part, pointed to the two countries' capacities, and underlined that her country is willing to expand relations with Iran, specially in parliamentary fields.

Last week, Chairman of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi in a meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Martin Lidegaard underlined that removal of all sanctions against Tehran is a necessary component of any final deal with the world powers.

"The recent US sanctions against Iran have increased distrust between the two sides (Iran and the Group 5+1) and the G5+1 should show its sincere and persistent commitment to the Geneva agreement in practice," Boroujerdi said during the meeting in the Northeastern city of Mashhad.

"The removal of sanctions is a necessity for any agreement," he added.

Earlier this month, Washington imposed sanctions on over 25 individuals and companies, including shipping firms, oil companies, airlines and six banks over alleged links with Iran.

The sanctions come as Iran and the six countries are in talks to reach a final agreement aimed at resolving the standoff over Tehran�s civilian nuclear work.

The two sides signed a historic interim deal in the Swiss city of Geneva in November 2013. The agreement entered into force on January 20 and expired six months later. In July, Iran and the six countries agreed to extend their negotiations until November 24 in a bid to work out a final accord.

The next round of talks between Iran and the six countries will be held in New York later this month.
