Senior diplomat begins France visit for bilateral talks

Tehran, Sept 2, IRNA Senior member of Iran?s nuclear negotiating team Abbas Araqchi left Brussels for France on Tuesday to hold bilateral talks with French representative to the Group 5+1 Nicolas de Rivire.
Araqchi, also deputy foreign minister for Legal and International Affairs, was a member of a team that accompanied Foreign Minsiter Mohammad Javad Zarif in his current visit to Belgium.
Zarif arrived in Brussels on Monday for talks with the outgoing EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton as well as senior officials of the European Parliament and his counterpart.

He is accompanied by a team of senior Foreign Ministry diplomats including Araqchi, Deputy Foreign Minister for Euro-American Affairs Majid Takht-e Ravanchi and the Ministry?s Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham.

Araqchi and Takht-e Ravanchi are high-ranking members of the Iranian nuclear negotiating team in talks with the world six powers (US, France, Britain, Russia and China plus Germany).

Meanwhile, Takht-e Ravanchi left Brussels for Prague, the Republic of Czech, for bilateral talks.
