Iran rejects Jeish Al-Adl's attack claim

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran on Sunday rejected a claim by Jeish al-Adl terrorist group about attacking the Southeastern Sistan and Balouchestan province.
"Nothing has happened to create insecurity in Sistan and Baloushestan," Governor-General of Sistan and Balouchestan province Ali Awsat Hashemi said in an interview with the Persian service of the Iranian students news agency on Sunday.

His remarks came after Jeish al-Adl terrorist group released some footages in the social media which showed rocket attacks by the terrorist group on areas, that the group alleged to be in Sistan and Balouchestan province.

"Anyway the grouplet may intend to revive and restructure itself through psychological operations to get past the damages it sustained due to its internal differences," Hashemi said.

There has recently been some internal clashes among Jeish al-Adl members which have reportedly led to the killing of the terrorist group's ringleader.

Early this year, Jeish al-Adl abducted five Iranian border guards in Jakigour region of Sistan and Balouchestan Province and took them to Pakistan. After two months of abduction, four of them were released and the terrorist group claimed that it had killed one of them.
