Tehran, Aug 28, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif urged Palestinian resistance leaders to take the case of Zionist regimeˈs atrocities against Gazans to international courts.
Felicitating Shalah and Mashal on the victory of the Palestinians in their resistance against Tel Avivˈs ruthless aggression on Gaza Strip, the Iranian minister referred to that victory as the beginning of greater triumphs for the Palestinian nation to restore their rights completely which included putting an end to the Israeli occupation, returning of the Palestinian refugees to their homes and formation of an independent Palestinian government as well as liberation of the Holy Quds.
Noting that reconstruction of Gaza requires massive efforts, Zarif expressed hope that international community and particularly the Islamic nations will immediately come to help the Gazans.
Zarif also reiterated Tehranˈs support for the Palestiniansˈ cause.
The war in Gaza ended on Tuesday after the Zionist regime and the Palestinians agreed to an open-ended ceasefire to end seven weeks of fighting in Gaza.
The deal agreed an immediate easing of the Zionist regimeˈs blockade of crossings into Gaza, and a gradual lifting of restrictions on fishing off the coast of the strip.
Speaking onTuesday from the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas hailed the agreement as a chance to ˈbuild a new nation and end the occupation.ˈ
