TEHRAN August 27 (Shana)--Iranian Oil Pipelines and Telecommunications Company (IOPTC) gets more than 80 percent of its needed equipment from domestic companies, IOPTC chief said.
��In the turbine sector, around 70 percent of parts are procured by domestically manufactured companies,� Abbas-Ali Jaafari said.


�Turbine gas technologies are as sophisticated as airplane engine technology and therefore their maintenance is not simple. But IOPTC is successfully doing so,� he said.

He said that some Iranian companies have voiced readiness to manufacture gas turbines.

Jaafari said the valves used by IOPTC are all made in Iran.
