Rouhani unveils new indigenous drones, missiles

TEHRAN, Aug. 24 (MNA) – Iran’s president has unveiled four aerial industry products in National Day of Defense Industry ceremony on Sunday.

On the second day of Government Week, President Hassan Rouhani visited Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization and unveiled four aerial industry products, including two indigenous drones Karrar 4, Mohajer 4, and two indigenous missiles Qadeer and Nasr Basir.

Karrar 4 is among the new generation of drones capable of aerial tracking of aggressor squadron in any height to help Air Defense Forces in protecting country’s air space.

Qadeer is also among the new generation of cruise missiles which can target and destroy marine targets in 300 Km distance. It is capable of being launched from coast and mobile platforms.

Marine cruise missile Nasr Basir,  made by Iranian navy experts, is a swift missile which can aim at any aggressor.

Also the newly made indigenous Mohajer 4 drone is capable of aerial mapping for military usage.
